Hammersmith Project

The Hammersmith Project was unique to us, initially being our largest project to date but with a difference.

We were appointed by Saltash Enterprises Ltd to carry out the general construction works which incorporated the removal of the existing roof approx 370m2 to allow for the construction of a new 2nd floor.

The construction consisted in excess of 20tons of structural steel, full height structural glazing to apertures 10m + wide, acrylic render, clerestory glazing, Sarnafil roof covering, and a bespoke zinc bullnose detail.

Whilst construction of the 2nd floor extension was underway the additional works of the lower floors were introduced. These included; extensive internal courtyard kitchen extension, reconstruction of both toilet cores, full rewire of entire building, installation of complete air conditioning system.

Working alongside London Project & Design Management these works were carried out under our complete control and executed in under 12 months, with an approximate contract value of £1.3m.
